“ HAVE YOUR OPINION COUNT.”
For Every One
Powley
It has been a year and a half since the Supreme Court of Canada handed down its unanimous decision on Métis harvesting rights in Powley v Regina and OMAA has been very active in following up on this important victory. Between September 29, 2003 and December 12, 2003, OMAA visited 44 communities across Ontario and spoke to over 2,200 people about the implications of the Powley decision. In late 2004 and early 2005 we had over 73 community meetings and saw more than 1700 members.Powley
